Hey, everyone. The end of the year is coming up, and I wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who has joined me on this crazy ride. It's hard to believe the incredible blessings that I have experienced this year, and you made it all possible. I hope that we can only continue to grow in the years to come.

In that spirit, I'd like to announce some exciting updates about what to expect in the coming months and beyond. Let's take a look:

*Starting December 14th, I am going to be introducing a new regular segment on my blog called "Stuff I Like." This will take the place of the "Movie Review" segment I introduced in my last post, allowing me to expand the series to all kinds of media. I'm going to be delving into books, movies, TV shows, podcasts, and anything else that has impacted me as a writer. Send me an e-mail at thebenschafer@gmail.com with your suggestions about things I should check out. If I like your suggestion and make it a featured post I will give you a shout-out.

*The much-requested sequel to Son of Syria is coming Spring 2018. I'll have more details as I complete the project, so stay tuned to TheBenSchafer.com for updates.

*A pair of new short stories will be released in Summer 2018 that will expand on the world of the Order of Saint Adrian and give my readers a chance to see the world through the eyes of some of the other Knights.
